Teens play a vital part in our community and have a number of opportunities to be involved in learning, participating in and planning teen events, and honing their skills working with children in Kesher: The Greenberg Religious School. Listed below are ways teens can get involved at PSC.

Kabbalat Torah

Kabbalat Torah (meaning accepting Torah) is our educational program for teens, which offers instruction on a variety of Jewish subjects and engaging discussion and debate. This year in Kabbalat Torah, we are utilizing the Shalom Hartman Institute’s Identity/Crisis podcast as a launching point for our class discussions. From “The Loneliness of Jewish Theology” to “the Future of Digital Judaism”, our discussions will be full of depth and relevance to Jewish life in the present and future.  For more information or to get involved, contact Rabbi Helfand at [email protected].

Make sure to register your 8-12th grader.
